My god I'm alive?

Who would have thought

I do know the occasional deviation has been appearing from me but nothing solid and concrete for a while now (it sucks)

I have however started a new part on my website...a 365....just a diary which I'll update either daily or as often as possible to show I'm alive and still snapping away!

You have know idea how happy I'll be if this comes through!!!

Ok, ME update...I've been...busy, to say the least.

I've been made redundant from work, and....I'm loving it. I got an awesome payout so right now I'm chilling to the max, and just doing freelance computer work to pay the bills etc so I don't touch the payout.

So what am I going to spend it on you say?

Yes, finally oh finally the opportunity as arisen to go traveling and see this amazing planet we all live on

This has got me so excited you have no idea!

I'm looking to build my photo portfolio on photos I take whilst on my travels, I will be taking equipment with me so I can snap and process whilst on the move so hopefully update it from time to time so hopefully it'll open up a few peoples eyes to what this planet really has to offer

So, some suggestions on where to go on my list I've got...

Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia - to see the salt flats
Argentina
Chile
Alaska
Canada, British Columbia
Few known places in America like New York, Grand Canyon etc
New Zealand
Austrailia


They are the top places I want to go....where else do people think I should go? Providing I survive all that and haven't run out of cash or been mugged and lost all my stuff or something hehe.

Anyway, In DA news I'm still getting the occasional favourite and comment on my work so thank you all for that and the page view gradually climbs each day a couple more at a time!

I know people must think 'god he doesn't do anything these days' but nope I still check it so your thoughts are so appreciated you have no idea!

Me and a friend have decided to do a photo competition thingy each week so I'll have at least 1 DA worthy pic each week now, so I WILL be uploading stuff (I know I've said it before but I really will!)

Personal life....err aside from the job I'm still at the flat and loving it, still get along with my flatmate which is all good. And just generally doing what I can to soldier on each day.

Finally....

OK ok...

My last post was very depressing!

But, things are finally on the up!

I moved out this weekend, my new place needs a little work but it'll soon be what I can call home!

And just in general things have been going my way for once...the weather has been great, friends are being good, just all great.

I'm a lot happier now

So you should start seeing pictures from me soonish!

Hello all,


4 months since my last Journal entry...shame on me! *slaps wrist*

So I feel an explanation is in order...

My parents have basically divorced, they became absolute on January 17th - they had been married 22 years - so that kinda hit me real bad.

Been having a few problems with my brother, i mean we don't get on anyway, but still...it hasn't helped.

Works had me running like a headless chicken...yeah I enjoy my job but its unnecessary stress.

I'm moving in a couple of weeks.

Theft has been going on at my house, so basically anything of any value to me (including all my camera gear) has had to be stored off site.

So that's a measly excuse as to why I haven't been submitting anything - but I have a few plans...

In May I'll be buying 2 new pieces of equipment - a Canon 40D and a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS Lens...

Oh yes, my wallet will cry. But it'll be so worth it and I've got a lot of motorsport events booked up, so hopefully should get some good shots from that

What Can I Say?

Life is hectic at the minute!!!

Every time I sort out a problem in my life so I can get back into the photography game, something else comes up! so therefore it stops me.

It's very annoying, because the few pictures I have taken have been good in my opinion but I haven't been able to process them properly, which is more annoying than anything.

I've been here a year now, and still get visits on a daily basis from some regulars and new comers which is always nice to see my work is getting appreciation and I'm still getting comments which again, is a nice thought and very very appreciated! so don't stop! keeps me going and keeps me picking up the camera!!!

So what can I say? I'll try and upload 1 or 2 pics now (I think I've got some material ready) if I do I'll do it as I have some spare time.

But yeah, got a shoot lined up in a couple of weeks, which will take top priority over everything so you'll definately see them
